Description: The ultimate organic transparent example of Aston's awesome PNG support
Animated waterfall (constantly flowing - there is a button to freeze the anim if it gets annoying). Desktop interface mutates and glows with mouse over. Everything is skinned - aclock, toppanel, vertpanel, taskbar, mainmenu right and left menu, resource monitor, rainlendar skin, etc..
All new cursors (accurate, clean, visible, semi-transparent and fits with the theme).
Multi-tiered menu systems for vert and top panels (for a more organic feel).
Everything is semi-transparent and it looks awesome with many other wallpapers and backgrounds.
No graphic based text, combined with color coded mouse over glows, and totaly modular menus makes this theme highly customizable.
I have done many things in this theme that I have never seen in a theme before. This theme puts my last theme "Liquid Light" to shame. Same concept, but Liquid Memory FX does it right

That seems pretty arbitrary. Did you actually DL it and try it out? Maybe you could elaborate.. What is raw about it? Why is that bad?
Is it just a matter of your personal taste?

I may be able to do that for you but it will be several months at least. I just moved to China (I took a teaching job over here), and I left my computer in the US. In a couple months I may have enough money to get a new computer here. Until then I am not going to be doing any graphics work. Sorry. I am at a internet cafe now :)

I know a lot of effort went into making this theme, but I find it slightly annoying that it's too small for my res. The biggest problem is that the PNGs are not large enough, that is to say that they don't stretch the full width of my monitor. Also, all of the little droplets all of the screen are icons, but I don't know what for - nothing is properly labled. At first glance I wouldn't even know there was a Start button. I actually had to float my mouse over the top to see if it were there. All in all, it needs a little work, I think. But I have to hand it to you, speding all that time on all those PNG animations had to be a pain in the side... Good work in the effort department.

well I think the theme is the best I saw yet. I read you comment and think you did no read the read me. the author gives advice for setting it for high res and he put extra graphic to make the top menu wider by add more collor button. it is call liquid MEMORY because things aren'tlabeled - they are color coded - you should set the droplets to link to your own stuff. not have label makes this theme much more customable then many other theme. this is a very advance theme with a lot really great about it but you should read the readme.

Hey I am a teacher in China also, what city/province are you in? I have been teaching here for 5 years but I still haven't learned hardly any Chinese.
The theme is really nice, I love the water concept and the waterfall is very cool, I will probably use this theme for quite awhile. You must have put a lot of work into this theme, so thanks.

For Rainlendar, you need the Rainlendar program, download it from:
If that doesn't work then search on google for Rainlendar.
I included a skin for Rainlendar in my theme directory but you must manually move that skin folder into Rainlendar's "Skins" directory after installing Rainlendar - then switch to that skin in Rainlendar. Check my readme for the theme for detailed tips on how to set up Rainlendar to be in just the right place, etc..
As for the link to my theme not working, I don't know what to tell you.. It should work.. If it doesn't work just try it again a couple times and I think it will work for you. I have done a couple tests and found that it doesn't allways work but it should be ok after a couple tries - also try hitting refresh button on the error page that comes up. If after trying a bunch and at different times of day you still can't download the theme let me know and I will see what I can do to help you get it.

Oh and WitePhyre I think Matrice was right, you need to read the readme is all - thanks for singlehandedly smashing my theme's rating because you didn't understand it - also giving it that low of a rating because it doesn't support your resolution is not very nice (and I did include alot of extras to help set it up for higher res - again check the readme for details). As for the startmenu button, I think most people will know where it is - I didn't want the start menu to look like a start menu, I wanted it to look like water and blend in almost imperectibly with the scene, I very much doubt anyone will have a really hard time finding it though.

Try searching on DeviantArt.com for the theme - it is hosted there and you should be able to download it from there. If I had time I would search for it myself and give you a URL to the page it's hosted at - If your still haveing trouble in a couple days I'll pop back and post the url.

OK - so I just got my new computer here in China so I DLed Aston and my Liquid Memory FX theme and set it up. First time I have ever seen my theme from the perspective of someone DLing and installing it fresh. I am disapointed to find numerous problems in the process..
Everything is there and with a little fooling around you should be able to get it set up right but I am affraid I rushed this out a bit at the end because I was packing to move to China at the time.
One thing is to check the readme.htm that is IN the Liquid Memory FX folder after install (the one that is loose in the zip file has broken refrence pictures - and the refrence pictures are one of the most informative parts of the readme.
There was problems with the clock and the plugins have to be turned on manually and a couple seemed to have forgotten their setups (odd).
Well, with minimal fuss I had it all set up fine but I know the theme inside and out too soo.. When I get more time I will rerelease a fixed version but that may be awhile yet, right now I am busy busy busy.
